White Turmeric - Haran Kaha
White turmeric, also called Zedoary is a species of family Ginger. It is native to South Asian countries including Indonesia. The plant cultivate as a herb and rarely found on home gardens. The plant closely related to Turmeric (Curcuma longa), and produces rhizome that use in ayurveda as an important medicine. Also rhizome of Zedoary is used as culinary seeds that as alternative to ginger. Additionally, Perfumes and essential oil produced from the Zedoary roots and rhizomes.
